1. About this policy
This Cookie Policy explains how AI Project Fixers Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on aiprojectfixers.com. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
By continuing to use the website you agree to the use of essential cookies described below. Non-essential cookies (if any) are only set after you give consent through the cookie banner.
2. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website saves on your device when you visit it. Cookies let the site remember things about your visit — such as whether you are logged in or what your preferences are — and make the site work as you would expect. Similar technologies include browser local storage, session storage, and pixel tags.
3. The cookies we use
We try to keep the cookies we use to a minimum. The current categories are listed below. The cookie banner shown on your first visit lets you accept or reject non-essential categories; you can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer.
3.1 Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are required for the website to work. They include cookies set by WordPress when you log in to the admin area or submit a comment, and cookies set by our consent management platform (CookieYes) to remember your cookie preferences. Strictly necessary cookies do not require your consent under UK GDPR / PECR because they are essential for a service you have requested.
- cookielawinfo-checkbox-* — remembers your cookie preferences (CookieYes, 1 year, first-party).
- CookieLawInfoConsent — stores the encoded record of your consent (CookieYes, 1 year, first-party).
- wordpress_* / wp-settings-* — only set if you log in to the admin area (WordPress, session/1 year, first-party).
3.2 Analytics cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-2VLHPHKM0E) to understand how visitors use the site — which pages they read, where they come from, and which content leads to action. This helps us improve the site over time. Google Analytics is provided by Google Ireland Ltd, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, acting as a data processor on our behalf.
Analytics cookies are only set after you click “Accept” on the cookie banner. We have enabled IP anonymisation and we do not use Google Analytics for advertising or remarketing. Data is retained for 14 months by default.
- _ga — assigns a unique ID to your browser, used to distinguish users (Google, 13 months, first-party).
- _ga_2VLHPHKM0E — persists session state for our specific GA4 property (Google, 13 months, first-party).
If you click “Reject” or close the banner without accepting, no Google Analytics cookies are set and no data is sent to Google.
3.3 Other categories
We do not currently use functional, advertising, or social-media tracking cookies. If we add any in the future, we will update this policy and the consent banner before doing so.
4. Managing your consent
You can withdraw or change your cookie consent at any time:
- Click “Cookie Settings” in the website footer to reopen the consent banner and change your choice.
- Use your browser’s privacy controls to block or delete cookies. Most browsers also offer an option to send a “Do Not Track” signal — we honour this signal and treat it as a refusal of analytics cookies.
- Opt out of Google Analytics specifically using Google’s browser add-on.
5. International transfers
Google Analytics data is processed by Google Ireland Ltd (in the EU) but may also be transferred to Google LLC servers in the United States. Google relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, the UK extension to that framework, and Standard Contractual Clauses for those transfers. More information is available in Google’s Privacy Policy and at the Google Business Privacy centre.
6. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when we add or remove cookies. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page tells you when the most recent change was made. Material changes will also re-trigger the consent banner so you can review your choices.
